Is this
the ULTIMATE SCOTTISH TOUR?
See for
yourself, experience this superb tour of Scotland and
all it has to offer, in the company of enthusiastic
Scots who live and breathe food and drink at its best.

So where does this tour
take you? we will see so much in a week that you will wonder how
we do it? Saying that, you will not be rushed so
much that you do not get out of the vehicle! We know
what we are doing and how to impress you - and believe
me, this will impress you!
Cost is not so important as the experience and this is
just what you will get - an experience of a lifetime!
We will escort you from Glasgow, where we meet
up, to Edinburgh, where we stay for the first night.
Staying in our Capital, exploring the sights and sounds
of this vibrant city, including a tour of the whisky
centre next to the castle - and aye, you will
also see the castle!
day two first stop is at Doune Castle just past Stirling (which we see on our
right as we pass). For lovers of Monty Python this
castle will not fail to surprise, it was where the
filming took place for a memorable Python epic.
After our visit we head north again to Perth and one of
Scotland's most hidden castles: Elcho. We drive through
the scenic Scottish countryside and start the visit
driving through a Scottish working farm. The castle
itself is a wee gem. We continue north again through the
city of Perth to Pitlochry where we visit Edradour,
Scotland's smallest distillery, included in our tour is
a free dram! Can you taker another castle? aye of course
you can - not far north is the magnificent Blair Atholl
Castle, once seen never forgotten. We draw the day to a
close as we arrive in Inverness, check into our hotel
overlooking the River Ness, relax and unwind. Dinner
tonight at another favourite place - so much to eat and
so little time to do so!

day three a morning visit to Culloden Battlefield
and Clava Cairns, each steeped in its own history, Clava
dating back over 5000 years. We then head out to Cawdor
castle for a visit, before returning to
Inverness for
some leisure time. Tonight we have a whisky
tasting session line up! More food tonight at the selected
restaurant in town!
day four sees us heading west along the Great
Glen - Loch Ness to you. A stop to visit Urquhart Castle
our first port of call. From here we continue along the
loch to Fort Augustus and Neptune's Staircase. A wee
while longer and we stop at Spean Bridge for
refreshments and a couple of drams! Have you seen
Glencoe? well you will on this tour, as we drive through
this our most infamous glen. Our day ends at
Oban as we
check into our accommodation overlooking the bay to
Mull. Ah! the highlight of the seafood ... EE Usk
restaurant, our absolute favourite west coast delight.
See you there later. |
