We will escort you from Glasgow, to Edinburgh, where you stay for the first night. Staying in our Capital, exploring the sights and sounds of this vibrant city, including a tour of the whisky centre next to the castle - and aye, you will also see the castle! Other castles on the tour Doune Castle. For lovers of Monty Python this castle will not fail to surprise, it was where the filming took place for a memorable Python epic, also one of Scotland's most hidden castles: Elcho. We drive through the scenic Scottish countryside and start the visit driving through a Scottish working farm. The castle itself is a wee gem, the magnificent Blair Atholl Castle, Cawdor castle, Urquhart Castle are also included, as is Oban distillery. We draw the day to a close as we arrive in Inverness, check into our hotel overlooking the River Ness, relax and unwind. Dinner tonight at another favourite place. Other visits include; Loch Ness, Fort Augustus and Neptune's Staircase, Culloden Battlefield and Clava Cairns, Glencoe, Edradour, Scotland's smallest distillery, Kilmartin Glen and 5000 years of Celtic history - see and touch standing stones, burial cairns, climb the ancient hill fort, see Knights Templar graves.
