For lovers of Monty Python this castle will not fail to surprise, it was where the filming took place for a memorable Python epic, also one of Scotland's most hidden castles: Elcho. We drive through the scenic Scottish countryside and start the visit driving through a Scottish working farm. The castle itself is a wee gem, the magnificent Blair Atholl Castle, Cawdor castle, Urquhart Castle are also included, as is Oban distillery.  We draw the day to a close as we arrive in Inverness, check into our hotel overlooking the River Ness, relax and unwind. Dinner tonight at another favourite place. Other visits include; Loch Ness, Fort Augustus and Neptune's Staircase, Culloden Battlefield and Clava Cairns, Glencoe, Edradour, Scotland's smallest distillery, Kilmartin Glen and 5000 years of Celtic history - see and touch standing stones, burial cairns, climb the ancient hill fort, see Knights Templar graves.
