18th JUNE; A day trip to the Crinan Canal, scenery is good, nice food available at the end, great views! Many locks to pass on the way and usually there are the “hairy coo’s” along the route. As we return to the road at Lochgilphead we start to discover ancient historic sites seeing and touching 5,000 years of history at Kilmartin Glen, standing stones, burial cairns, hill top fort, castle, Templar burial sites, ancient stone carvings, village pub etc, and on to Oban. Time allowing we can even cross the Atlantic, on the only Atlantic bridge in the world! Overnight Inveraray again. A superb day out, paced and timed to please.

![]() 17th JUNE; We meet your guests at the airport, then take a slow scenic drive up past Loch Lomond (with a chance to stop, stretch the legs etc and photo ops) and on to the west coast proper, many lochs and glens, travelling up the scenic “rest and be thankful” route, an ancient cattle trail up the glens, onto another loch, this time Loch Fyne, where we can stop at the famous Loch Fyne Oyster Bar, which has a restaurant and shop, driving a further 15 minutes to Inveraray – with the George Hotel as a base for a few days. We have arranged one of their best rooms! This wee town has lots to see and do - castle, Victorian jail, wee shops, lovely walks, harbour and great location for a base for the next day too!
19th JUNE; we set out along the road running alongside Loch Awe, pay a quick visit to St Conans Kirk (amazing!) and on to Rannoch Moor and through the infamous Glencoe, Ballachulish, Fort William, Spean Bridge where we stop for lunch at the woollen mill, see the locks at Fort Augustus then on to Loch Ness. Depending how the day goes they may wish to visit Urquhart Castle (below). Arrive into Inverness where they stay overnight in a nice room overlooking the River Ness. We can make many suggestions where to dine.
20th JUNE; All day touring, either whisky and castles in Speyside, or north to Dunrobin Castle (below left) and even further north to Wick, or head towards Skye and see Eilean Donan Castle (below centre). We can be flexible working with you so you see what you want to see, even whisky (distillery below right). We are the driver and guide, you are in charge! Your trip with us ends here at Inverness, where you have golf arranged tomorrow!
