A kind wee soul gave me a bottle of the Balvenie Port Wood, after many ooo's and ah's I sat doon and considered; is this one of the best whisky's I have ever tasted? The answer came to me after another dram or three, aye, it is!  I do like the Balvenie collection and have sampled three now, all very good.

We have also sent many tours to the distillery via the Glenfiddich special tour and to be honest, most of our guests have been Norwegian or Swedish, with the odd English and American for good measure.  I do like going to Dufftown and have some nifty wee contacts there, it's a case of; what do you do in the whisky capital of the world? enjoy a dram or two!
