Perth Whisky Festival 31st October  - 6th November 2008 The very first whisky festival in Perth, be a part of this special event open to everyone. Our Whisky Manager we will be on hand to guide you through the whisky's both nosing and tasting at the pubs. With many years experience Regis will take the whisky dinner and the Perthshire whisky night in one of our Belhaven Brewery Perth Pubs.   FRIDAY; 31st October Christies Pub. A day trip to Edinburgh, take a ghost tour, with a special invite to our private whisky club, for tasting 4 superb drams, followed by Tasteing and Nosing session of 4 drams from different parts of Scotland. A true whisky day out for the whisky lover. SORRY - SOLD OUT SATURDAY; 1st November A visit to Edradour Distillery in Pitlochry, local Perthshire sightseeing followed by an evening at The Foundry Bar. Again at 8pm in a reserved section of the pub. Food included in the event tonight; HAGGIS NEEPS & TATTIES with a surprise desert. At each event we will sample at least four different malts with expert guidance from MCLEANSCOTLAND. Fun will be a big part of these events lasting approx one hour each. Of course we will be on hand before and after with helpful advice or just to answer any questions you may have.  All places MUST be pre booked    whisky@mcleanscotland.com

Perth Whisky Festival; 4th November 2008   THE WHISKY OF PERTHSHIRE On this evening of fun & whisky, we shall be nosing and tasting the whisky of Perthshire; Tullibardine; Edradour; Dewars; Bells; Famous Grouse; TICKETS £15 PER PERSON Each distillery will be represented with one of their drams, our night consists of fun as we try and guess "blind" which whisky you are tasting. Fun and games as we determine the malts, with the winner taking home the "quaich". Regis will be hosting this event along with Paul of mcleanscotland also in attendance. The fun starts at 8pm in the Foundry Bar, food is available (extra to ticket price) before this event so if this is what you need before 5 drams, ensure you are there earlier, in fact, why not pre order   perthwhisky@mcleanscotland.com MCLEANSCOTLAND wish to thank Tracy MacDonald and Grant Ross from Christies and the Foundry, your tasting night hosts, also the support of Belhaven Brewery.

Details still to be finalised for this excellent Finale to our festival. We know that it will take place at the Bothy in Perth with Regis once again in charge of the event. Enjoy a drink with each course as you sample the delights of Perthshire in food and whisky.
