Your
Hosts take you on a superb whisky tour
packed full of whisky, stunning scenery and
Scottish visits to remember, culminating in
the Gathering of
the Clans in Edinburgh!
We will
head north towards
Loch Lomond, where we will take a
sail on this world famous loch! Then turning
west through the Argyll forests to Loch Fyne
itself, driving along the shoreline we
arrive at INVERARAY
where we check into the
LOCH FYNE HOTEL.
After some free time we pay a visit to the
castle - home to the Chief of Clan Campbell.
Free time afterwards until our evening
dinner.
Day two
we depart after a full Scottish breakfast to
see and touch over 5000 years of ancient
Celtic and Scottish history!
Kilmartin Glen
has so many historic sites, we will just be
able to select a few, but they will be
superb! From here north where soon we will
cross the Atlantic,
stopping at a wee Scottish pub steeped in
history "the house of trousers", time for a
dram and food here. Then to
OBAN and
the distillery tour. The afternoon sees us
heading east to Fort William and the
BEN NEVIS
distillery. Our return to Inveraray is
complete with a drive through the infamous
Glencoe.

More
distilleries today as we head south to
Campbeltown for a distillery visit.
Springbank Distillery
is unique. It is the oldest independent
family owned distillery in Scotland, the
only distillery in Scotland to carry out the
full production process on the one site.
100% of the traditional floor malting,
maturation and bottling is done at the
distillery in Campbeltown. It produces the
most hand made whisky in Scotland, the only
distillery in Scotland to have never
chill-filtered, nor do we add any aftificial
colourings to any of our single malts and
the only distillery in Scotland to produce
three different single malts, Springbank,
Longrow and Hazelburn, using three different
production methods. A wee bit of sightseeing
en route and returning to Inveraray for some
free time. A whisky
dinner is on the menu this
evening, enjoy!
The
final day of our tour, we head to
AUCHENTOSHAN
distillery for a visit and tasting session.
With time for lunch here, we then move to
our final destination;
EDINBURGH. We stay overnight
in the Scottish capital - after a relax and
maybe you can sample a local pub, we enjoy a
finale to the tour with a whisky tasting
dinner at our hotel. The 4 Star
ROYAL TERRACE HOTEL
Part of a prestigious Georgian Terrace, the
hotel overlooks Scotland's historical
capital and just minutes walk from the city
centre. Tour ends here ... but;
