WHISKY TASTING EVENING 25 June Inverness

WHAT WILL REGIS BE DOING FOR OUR MACLEAN'S?  He will offer tasting advice on the selected malts and blends. He will take you through the history and work put into one of Scotland's largest exported products. As a Frenchman delivering his well founded knowledge (Regis is a member of the Scottish Field tasting panel), there will be humour and plenty of member participation along the way with also guest appearances from a well known face or two. With Regis's many years of experience in the Hospitality Industry and most particularly the 20 plus years working at the top of the bar trade, he has developed the ability to speak about the many Scotch whiskies available on the market past and present.  You will learn about; How to taste and drink Scotch Whisky - "The Ritual"  Water or No Water? Answered as only Regis can! The individual whiskies served and part of their story. Snippets of history from past to present. Coach tour passengers are included in this night, others can purchase tickets from us.

 

Regis had been working in the top levels of the Catering industry in Scotland since 1993, he ran the hotel bar which first picked up the "Hotel Whisky Bar of the Year in 1997" at St Andrews Old Course Hotel.
