Colin is our driver in a million (he says!), but
honestly there cannot be two of him, one is bad
enough! Look closely at this
photo, these two unlikely characters are in
fact related, aye! Can you believe it?
We can't. Some where back in the depths
of time the two families are related, we think
there must be a mistake, or to put it better,
Colin is easily the black sheep of the family. Where is
Liz you all cry! HERE she is

We
bank with the Royal Bank of Scotland. Our
currency exchange and all banking facilities
are with the RBS. When we quote you a currency
rate it will be from RBS that we obtain the
rate. Our other bank is for the Irish tours when
we use the Bank of Ireland in Kilkenny, all
transactions in euro's.
Who
do we work with? We work with agents who
plan tours for their own clients, with individuals
who deal with us direct to arrange a vacation
to suit their requirements, we also work with
groups of all sizes: Pipe Bands, Musical Groups
and Clan Gatherings. We also will work
that special tour for any group any size who
wish to travel with us, any theme, any duration
of stay. We take all the hassle out of
the trip and book it all for you! (Apart
from international flights - we can recommend
an agent for you).

For 2005 we have several Pipe Bands staying
with us - all are very welcome: Mesa Caledonian
(again), Tunes of Glory, City of Rochester Pipes
& Drums, Breezy Point, Glaronia Pipe Band,
Atholl Highlanders - many for the huge event
Pipefest in Edinburgh and some for the World
Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow. We
welcome all!
It
will come as no surprise to find that mcleanscotland
support the RLNI as we are an island nation
with many miles of coastline. The crews
do a fantastic job, they do not get government
funding - they rely totally on donations.

Most
of the lifeboatmen and women are volunteers,
these people are prepared to risk their lives
to save others. Crews include, fishermen,
teachers, builders, solicitors, farmers, and
shop keepers. In fact with the reduction in
the sizeoffishing fleets, less
than 10% of new crew come with a nautical
background. However they all are physically
fit, dedicated to the job, and very much team
players.
