the imposing Duart castle on Mull

The McLean Clan from Rochester/Nashville/San Francisco We do hope there will be as many of the Family who can come to Scotland in 2012, They should not be strangers, as Paul has stayed with many and all are friends.

I know they are looking at coming to enjoy themselves, many for the first time, then possibly away to Ireland after the gathering.

With Paul knowing both countries very well, having been to both so many times (och I know, he lives in Scotland, but you know what we mean) with family concentrated in Ireland, he has been giving much info to all.

We welcome all to Scotland.  These images here are just to give an idea of what to expect. PLEASE NOTE; on Mull, there is only one bank, at Tobermory, a couple of grocery shops, maybe 5 pubs, shops at each village and more at Tobermory. ATM machines are available but not plentiful, so we suggest taking cash from ATM's on the mainland for Mull - just in case. The sun comes up approx 4am and sets approx 9.30pm so we have long days. Tobermory is by far the largest town on the isle. Local buses do run, mainly from Tobermory to the ferry at Craignure, and from there towards Iona, most often meeting the ferry times. Other than that, we have approx 4 taxis available.
