The Course The day is split into sections covering all aspects of Scotch Whisky... includes; Content of course; Malt & Grain whisky production. The Art of Blending.  Scotch v The Best of the Rest. History & Development. Sensory Perception. Comparative Tasting. International Markets.  Selling & Serving Whisky matching for customers. Exam. Comprehensive Manual. Lunch in Amber restaurant. Full day of training Materials to take (on request). Certificate of Expertise (on successful completion of exam) . There is a 40 minute exam to ensure that candidates leave with the valuable knowledge & skill that will help them sell Scotch Whisky. Candidates will be informed of results by post, and will be awarded Distinctions, Merits or passes where appropriate.

Accommodation; check in time is normally after 3pm, however luggage can be dropped at any time with prior arrangements. We do have a selection of styles and prices for varied accommodation in Edinburgh. When booking please let us know your first choice.

Today you also are invited to our private whisky club in Edinburgh, There is no whisky included we’re sorry, A SUPERB whisky selection & knowledgeable staff.             THURSDAY 30 APRIL Your final day here in Edinburgh (unless you wish to add on dates), we have booked you on a day trip by luxury mini coach to Rosslyn Chapel, the Borders and Glenkinchie Distillery.
