 
Wednesday 3rd.
Sightseeing en route
is spectacular
today, as you depart
Pitlochry for the
west coast. As you
drive through the
countryside passing
lochs, rivers, glens
and mountains, there
are plenty of
opportunities for
stopping to admire
the view or to take
some refreshments.
Your day will end as
you arrive at
Stonefield Castle
Hotel
(below). Dinner is
included at the
hotel this evening.

Thursday 4th.
Local sightseeing
before the ferry or,
simply relax and
enjoy your
surroundings. A wee
drive down the
peninsula you will
find Campbeltown, a
good old distillery
lies here, should
you wish to pay a
visit!
Taking the 1pm
ferry to Islay,
the sailing lasts
approx 2 hours 20
minutes, once on the
island, transfer to
your superb hotel;
The Harbour Inn
at
Bowmore harbour.
Now you can get a
taste of that "water
of life" without
fear of having to
drive afterwards!

Friday 5th.
Sightseeing
including distillery
visits and
tastings. We have
arrange tour a
guide for you
(Lamont) while
your cars stay at
the hotel, he will
give you expert
advice, an islander
himself and a whisky
expert, as you will
find out! Overnight

Saturday 6th.
After breakfast
you have most of the
day again on the
isle for exploring
and driving, the
roads will not be
busy! Some ideas;
Kildalton Cross is
one of the finest
early Christian
crosses in Scotland,
the High Cross of
Kildalton, is
closely related to
three major crosses
in Iona, also Jura
if you wish. A
Superb day of island
life. Your ferry
departs at 6pm,
please be in line at
least 45 minutes
prior to sailing.
Once you have
arrived back on the
mainland, your hotel
is at Ardrishaig,
near Lochgilphead;
The Grey Gull.
Dinner is included
here tonight.

Sunday 7th
your final day in
Scotland.
After a hearty
breakfast (and we
know it is, we have
stayed here
ourselves) why not
sample a some
ancient Celtic and
Scottish history?
Kilmartin Glen
(picture right),
full of ancient
historic sites and
is just a wee detour
from Lochgilphead,
well worth it.
return along this
same road to
Inveraray, should
you need lunch, we
fully recommend the
George Hotel.
Heading now to
Glasgow alongside
Loch Lomond and to
the airport to drop
off your cars to the
waiting transporter.
