given us the dates for 2012 as below.
WEDNESDAY 20 June;
Upon your arrival into Scotland,
we will meet you at Glasgow airport.
Liz and Paul will be there to guide you to a
taxi and send you on your way to the
city, whilst they wait for later arrivals.
In the afternoon we will take a coach tour
around two museums; Transport and the Kelvingrove
with a drop off for those who wish at the Botanic
Gardens, before reeturning back into
Glasgow, and the Marriott hotel. Check in
will be available after 4pm, however the
hotel lounge and bar will be available. A
welcome evening buffet will be served
for your first night in Scotland.
THURSDAY 21 June;
the fun starts in earnest today! We depart
Glasgow and head north along Loch Lomond for
a brief stop. We then
drive to Inveraray for a wee photo stop
before heading to Oban where you can explore
the town for a couple of hours. Then board the ferry to MULL.
We check into the Isle of Mull Hotel approx
7pm. A
welcome to Mull dinner this evening at
the hotel for all our Maclean guests.
FRIDAY
22 June; Coach will depart for
Tobermory where you can collect the
gathering info packs from the clan. Freetime
here before departing for Craignure again
stopping en route at a special Maclean site.
For those wishing to travel to Iona and
maybe Staffa, in place of Tobermory, this is
available as an optional extra, please ask
for details. Book well in advance please.

SATURDAY 23 June;
the main gathering day as we take you to
Duart Castle for the 100th Anniversary
Gathering of Clan Maclean. All day at the
castle. Dinner once
again included at the hotel. For those
attending the Tobermory function tonight, we
will make a coach journey there and back for
you from the hotel.

SUNDAY
24 June;
the coach will depart
for Fishnish where we take the ferry to
Lochaline and then taking the wee ferry at
Corran. Fort William is next, where
another brief stop will be; Inverlochy
Castle. Our day
continues along the Great Glen passing by Lochs
Oich, Lochy and
Ness, all the way to Strathpeffer Ben Wyvis Hotel. A
good long scenic day in the highlands.
Dinner included tonight.
MONDAY 25 JUNE;
so where to today you ask? We will be on
a day trip full of history, scenery and
stops you will all enjoy. Returning to the hotel
for dinner. For those of you who wish to
relax and stay at Strathpeffer, not a
problem! But hey, come on ... don't miss out
on this trip as it will be a superb day.
TUESDAY 26 JUNE; as we head
south we will stop at the new Culloden
Visitor Centre and a tour of the
battlefield. No more need to be said about
this, apart from, it's a new centre you may
not have seen. Our day will end
in the Victorian town of Pitlochry - the
superb Atholl Palace Hotel. Whisky
tasting tonight at the hotel. Many options
for your dinner whilst at Pitlochry.
WEDNESDAY 27 JUNE;
a day of rest for our coach driver (as the
law states), Pitlochry has many sights to
visit, gardens, golf, the fish ladder etc and many places to eat and
drink.
Golf
is easily played for those wishing to. There
is also a very goof theatre here you may
wish to take in a play? You can also take
the train to Edinburgh for a day out!
THURSDAY 28 JUNE;
a trip to Loch Lomond again or
the Trossachs,
details later. Then it is south again
ending our day at Marriott
Hotel once again. An early light farewell
dinner is planned for this evening.
FRIDAY 29 JUNE;
a final day as you relax, do that
last minute shopping, or simply see the
sights around Glasgow, there is no coach
today. Should any of you wish to stay longer,
please let Paul know well in advance, at
least three months would be good. Thank you. THE TOUR ENDS TONIGHT.
